After issuing students an assignment to write about an inspiring innovator and 90% of the class writing about a man, Abi committed to 52 posts about inspiring women through 2024...
Abi works along side a wonderful group of people in her role as a Design Council Expert, supporting the "Design for Planet" mission. The Design Council Experts are a network of design pioneers who advocate for design, share knowledge about best practice and help Design Council deliver advice and programmes.
Via Magentic, Defankle provides design coaching for SME's on Innovate UK's Design for Growth programme. Key focus areas for coaching include developing an understanding of design and design processes and, embedding design in their strategy.

This module encourages a design-led approach to the various functions of a business (manufacturing, design, supply chain, customer service), with value proposition and strategy at the centre.
